- 04 நவம்பருக்கு முன்பே பள்ளி கேலெண்டரில் காலக்கெடுக்களை பூட்டுங்கள். Lock deadlines in the school calendar before November.
IRIS-க்கு ஆர்வமுள்ள வகுப்பு 9–12 மாணவர்களை கண்டுபிடியுங்கள். இரண்டு ஆசிரியர் வழிகாட்டிகளை நியமிக்கவும். IRIS-ல் தமிழ்நாட்டிலிருந்து 2024-ல் 3 பள்ளிகள் மட்டும் — மிகவும் குறைவான போட்டி. Identify Classes 9–12 students interested in original research. Assign two teacher mentors. Only 3 TN schools reached IRIS 2024 finals — very low competition from the state.

- 04 இலவச பொருட்களுடன் தயாரிக்கவும் — HBCSE முந்தைய ஆண்டு கேள்விகள் மற்றும் NCERT வளங்கள் இணையத்தில் உள்ளன. Prepare with free materials — HBCSE past papers and NCERT resources are online.

National IRIS winners go to Intel ISEF in the US. Requires a long-term project (8+ weeks). Low fee.

- 01 செப்டம்பர்–அக்டோபர்: விண்ணப்பங்கள் சமர்ப்பிக்கவும். 21 அறிவியல் பிரிவுகள். Sep–Oct: submit applications across 21 science categories.
- 02 நவம்பர்–டிசம்பர்: திரையிடல். Nov–Dec: screening.
- 03 ஜனவரி–பிப்ரவரி: தேசிய விழா — 100 இறுதியாளர்கள். Jan–Feb: National fair — 100 finalists.
- 04 மே: சிறந்த குழுக்கள் Regeneron ISEF (அமெரிக்கா). இந்தியா இதுவரை 160 விருதுகள் வென்றுள்ளது. May: top teams go to Regeneron ISEF (USA). India has won 160 ISEF awards to date.
